Project UnLonely Films Curator
& Program Manager (Remote)

Job Type: Part Time
Experience Level: Minimum of three years of full-time marketing experience
Salary: Commensurate to experience.

Worried about how disconnected the world feels? So are we. At The Foundation for Art & Healing, we’re a small but mighty team using our creative superpowers to take on one of today’s most urgent health crises: loneliness. Through Project UnLonely Films — our acclaimed library of 150+ powerful short films — we raise awareness, reduce stigma, and inspire people to connect. Think of us as the Netflix of loneliness and connection—only with a mission to change lives by raising awareness, reducing stigma, and helping people connect.

With Season 10 launching in June 2026—our most anticipated season yet—we’ll be premiering 25–30 new short films and celebrating a decade of impact. We’re seeking a savvy, entrepreneurial marketing professional to help make this milestone unforgettable. You’ll scout the best films, create content that excites audiences, and build a vibrant filmmaker community from our 150+ alumni. Your work will directly fuel our ability to reach millions and deepen the cultural conversation about loneliness.

What You’ll Do

  • Film Research. You love short films and you already have several in mind to recommend. You are happy to identify over 100 short films to review that align with our mission.
  • Marketing. You can craft messages that intrigue and inspire filmmakers to submit their short film for consideration. You can craft strategies that get our films seen by more people.
  • Project Management. You’ll be handed a milestone-driven timeline filled with tasks that must be completed on schedule for a successful launch in June 2026. And you’ll need to coordinate and collaborate with film reviewers, staff, and stakeholders to make it happen.
  • Social media acumen. You’re not just experienced as a user of social media, you understand the strategic value of each platform and know how to leverage it based upon goals. And you’re willing and happy to be “the face” of Project UnLonely Films as a potential strategy to promote the project.
  • Juggling ability. We’re a small team with big goals – you’ll have a lot on your plate, and you won’t shrink from the challenge of prioritizing and keeping up with quick turn-arounds.

Who You Are
A multi-talented pro with skills in marketing, communications, strategy, and project management—plus hands-on expertise in social media, short-form content, and event production. Bonus if you have ties to the filmmaking community, sponsors, or legacy media, or if you’ve built communities before.
