The Foundation for Art & Healing brings people together to help communities improve health and wellbeing by using creative arts expression as a catalyst for public health.
Jared is a first-year PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania studying genetics & epigenetics. He recently graduated from Bowdoin College where he led the student public health club, introducing him to the FAH and the power of community in shaping its vision of the common good. With his lifelong hobby of folding origami, he hopes to use his creative instinct to not only be an inventive scientist but also an advocate for self-expression through artistic outlets.
