The Foundation for Art & Healing brings people together to help communities improve health and wellbeing by using creative arts expression as a catalyst for public health.
Karissa has received two Associate degrees while working toward a Bachelor of psychology and a Master of Science in Social Work. She believes that fostering genuine connections with others is essential for personal growth and mental well-being. She currently serves as the International Vice President for Phi Theta Kappa. In this role, she champions student leadership by organizing events that promote academic excellence and community service. She is dedicated to empowering students by fostering leadership skills and providing opportunities for personal growth.
